FAQ

How much do you charge?
Fees are customized for each client based on many factors including the number of files involved and the timeframe in which they are sent to us. Armor offers a competitive fee package for every scenario.

What kind of return can be expected?
Armor Systems obtains maximum results for our clients, always striving to exceed industry statistics. Your return relies greatly on several factors including the age of each account.

Do you report to the credit bureaus?
Yes. Credit bureau reporting is optional and free of charge to your clients. Armor reports to the three major credit-reporting repositories as follows:

  • Equifax
  • Experian
  • TransUnion

Credit bureau reporting enhances our collection efforts for those consumers who need to obtain credit (mortgage or mortgage re-finance, auto loans, credit cards, etc…) Armor reports all unpaid balances after thirty days from the initial listing of the account. When the account is paid-in-full, Armor notifies the credit bureaus of such. All consumers are notified that "Credit bureau notification is pending" in the initial collection notice.

Do you "skip trace" accounts?
Yes. Armor utilizes many sources for skip tracing at no charge to our clients. We try to obtain home phone numbers, good addresses and employment information. In addition, Armor sends all new accounts through a bankruptcy database to ensure that we are not pursing any consumers who have discharged your receivable through a bankruptcy filing.

Do you utilize litigation in your collection process?
If it is determined that a consumer is financially able to pay their debt, yet refuses to do so, our collection representatives will recommend legal action. Upon management approval, the system generates the suit authorization to you, our client. You have the option of authorizing or
denying this recommended action. Once your written approval is received, the account(s) is transferred to our attorneys and the lawsuit process beings.. Armor advances and pays all court costs and filing fees for this procedure.
